Terms of Service
These terms describe the current private ProspectDog demonstration. The contracting business name, business address, and support contact must be confirmed before a public or paid launch. This is a review draft, not a completed commercial agreement.
1. Scope of this preview
ProspectDog is a prototype of a prospect-research workspace for independent business consultants. This version provides guided onboarding, optional ChatGPT sign-in to save an account profile, mock prospect searches, fictional opportunity briefs, filters, account-saved shortlists and outreach drafts, fit feedback, search history, email-digest previews, and copy/download controls. It does not search the live web, verify contacts, send emails, run Meta ads, process payments, or run scheduled jobs. The $49, $99, and $299 monthly options record a proposed plan preference only. Choosing one does not enroll you in billing. Lemon Squeezy is a proposed payment provider, not an active integration.
The 6:00 a.m. brief and automated prospecting described on the marketing page are the proposed product experience. Dashboard profile and morning/afternoon delivery preferences can be saved to your account; they do not activate delivery. No purchase, subscription, service-level commitment, or future feature delivery is offered through this preview.
Planned subscriptions and optional outreach
The proposed Starter plan is $49/month for 10 morning leads; Pro is $99/month for 10 morning and 10 afternoon leads, deeper research, and review-before-send Gmail outreach; Scale is $299/month for 20 morning leads, deeper research, and optional automatic first emails and next-day follow-ups when no reply is received. Company email and phone details depend on availability. These are proposed capabilities, not active services. The planned 7-day trial would begin after checkout, with paid renewal afterward unless cancelled. No payment details are collected, no active trial starts, and selecting a plan creates no entitlement in this preview.
Automated sending and follow-ups require a connected provider, explicit enablement, reply detection, and opt-out handling before launch. No AI phone calling is offered. Opening Talk to founder opens your email application addressed to me@prospect.dog; no message is sent until you send it yourself.
2. Eligibility and permitted use
This preview is intended for adults evaluating a business tool. Use it only for lawful evaluation, with information you are entitled to use. Do not submit sensitive personal information, private client records, credentials, or confidential business material. Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the site, introduce malicious code, impersonate someone, or use sample material to mislead others.
3. Sample data and your decisions
Company names, people, business events, and signals in the demonstrations are fictional examples. Any resemblance to a real business or person is coincidental. Source descriptions illustrate the kind of evidence a future research service could use; they are not verified citations.
Before acting on a prospect or using a message outside this preview, independently check the facts, recipient, permissions, and relevance. A business signal is not proof of buying intent or budget. ProspectDog does not promise clients, responses, appointments, revenue, accurate contact details, or a particular return on investment.
4. Drafts and outreach
Editing, saving, or copying a draft does not send it. Drafts are examples, not ready-to-send compliance templates. If you adapt them for actual commercial email, you are responsible for lawful recipient selection, accurate sender and subject information, required advertising disclosures, your valid postal address, an appropriate opt-out method, and honoring opt-outs, as applicable to the countries involved. Do not treat a public business listing as blanket permission to contact anyone.
For U.S. commercial email, including business-to-business email, see the FTC's CAN-SPAM guidance. This preview provides no mailing infrastructure, unsubscribe processing, suppression list, or deliverability service.
5. Your content and saved data
You retain your rights in the text you enter. Anonymous onboarding uses a temporary local browser draft with a seven-day inactivity expiry checked on read. Anonymous searches return sample results without saving them to an account; guest shortlist and draft changes remain in page memory.
When signed in, explicit profile saves, search queries and their results, shortlisted leads, saved message drafts, fit feedback, and generated email briefs can be stored in your account. Searches also create an email-preview snapshot addressed to the email supplied by your authentication provider. There is no external email sending. These records are scoped to the authenticated user and can be retrieved on another device after signing in.
Clear local view does not delete account data. Delete workspace data in History removes saved searches, lead records, drafts, ratings, and email previews. Delete saved profile in onboarding separately removes your onboarding profile. Copying or downloading creates a device-managed copy that those controls do not delete.
Saving a draft or generating an email preview is not permission for automatic outreach to prospects. The email brief is intended for the signed-in subscriber, and no message is sent to either the subscriber or prospects in this version. The 6 a.m. setting remains a preference, not a running scheduled job.
6. Access, service changes, and availability
The site owner and hosting platform may restrict or end preview access. Features may change or be removed, and the demonstration may be unavailable. You may stop using it at any time. There is no fee or automatic renewal in this version.
7. Ownership and third-party services
Site branding, presentation, and other operator-provided material remain subject to their applicable intellectual-property rights. You may evaluate the preview and adapt its sample drafts for lawful use; no permission is granted to imply an endorsement or affiliation. External services and sites are governed by their own terms. ProspectDog is not affiliated with RevenueCat, Social Cat, or similarly named products.
8. Prototype limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the preview is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or guaranteed commercial results. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Commercial liability limits, dispute provisions, governing law, billing, and cancellation terms have not been finalized for a paid service.
9. Changes and contact
These draft terms will be reviewed when the implemented product changes. The update date and revision history identify the version. Material new functionality, charges, or data practices must be disclosed before they take effect, with any required acceptance or consent. Merely changing this page does not authorize a new use of data.
For questions during the private preview, contact the person who provided your access using your existing communication channel. A named operator and dedicated contact channel must be supplied before public launch.
Microsoft Advertising measurement
When a Microsoft Advertising UET tag ID is configured and you accept optional cookies, ProspectDog loads Microsoft’s UET script to report page visits and the same trial and return-day events used for Meta measurement. Browser event fields contain an event identifier, not your email, prospect queries, leads, or drafts. Microsoft also receives browser, page URL, cookie, and connection information. No Microsoft tag ID is currently configured. Known campaign and application parameters and fragments are removed from the page URL before advertising tags load. Pages with other query parameters skip both tags. Rejecting optional cookies stops future application event reporting, sets UET advertising storage consent to denied if loaded, and uses the existing withdrawal controls. Previously received data remains subject to provider policies. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.
Subscription access and checkout
Newly signed-in accounts without a verified subscription or active trial are directed to the paywall. The new checkout offers Starter at $49/month and Pro at $99/month with a seven-day trial when configured. Checkout is currently disabled. A selected plan, sign-in, or checkout return URL does not activate a trial. Actual trial and payment status must be verified from Lemon Squeezy. Payment card information is entered on Lemon Squeezy’s hosted checkout; this site does not receive raw card numbers or security codes.
After activation, the selected plan renews monthly at the checkout price plus disclosed applicable tax unless cancelled. The trial ends at the date shown by Lemon Squeezy. Cancellation is available through its customer portal; access ends according to the provider-confirmed end date. Expired, paused, or past-due subscriptions do not unlock the workspace. Live discovery, scheduled emails, and Gmail outreach remain unconnected; this preview does not promise those as active services.
